Started with a simple idea, really. We'd been traveling through the Rockies for years and kept thinking... wouldn't it be amazing to create a place where luxury doesn't mean stuffy? Where you can unwind without all the pretense that usually comes with high-end stays.
Took over this old property on Cascade Boulevard. Honestly, it needed a ton of work. But beneath the worn carpets and dated fixtures, we saw something special - bones that told stories, views that took your breath away. We kept what mattered and reimagined the rest.
Added our spa and thermal baths after guests kept asking for more ways to decompress. The thermal waters we tapped into? They'd been there all along, just waiting. Sometimes the best things are right under your feet.
Our chef convinced us to expand the dining experience. Built out a proper wine cellar with bottles from BC and beyond. Now dinner here isn't just a meal - it's kinda become the thing people plan their whole evening around.
We're still evolving, still listening to what our guests need. Every season brings something new, but the core stays the same - creating moments that stick with you long after checkout.
To everyone who walks through our doors,
I never thought I'd end up running a hotel, to be honest. My background's in architecture and design, spent years working on projects that looked great but felt... cold. When my partner and I stumbled upon this property back in 2018, something just clicked.
We wanted to build a place where the experience feels natural, not manufactured. Where you can show up in your hiking boots or your fancy dinner outfit and feel equally at home. The mountains have this way of stripping away pretense - they're grand without trying, beautiful without effort. That's what we're going for here.
Every detail here has been argued over (sometimes loudly, sorry team), tested, and refined. From the pressure in the thermal bath jets to the thread count in the sheets to the playlist in the spa. We're obsessive, but in a good way, I hope.
Thanks for being part of our story. We're just getting started.

From a simple idea to a full-fledged retreat, we've grown organically - listening to our guests, adapting to the seasons, and staying true to what matters. The journey's been anything but straight, but that's kinda the point.
Look, we could've set up anywhere. But Whistler's got this thing - it's got the mountains, obviously, but there's also this energy here. Summer brings hikers and bikers, winter's all about powder and cozy evenings, and the shoulder seasons? That's when the magic really happens.
Cascade Boulevard might not be the main strip, and that's exactly why we love it. Close enough to access everything, far enough to feel like your own private escape. Plus, the thermal springs we tapped into? Pure luck. Or fate. Take your pick.
The community here gets what we're trying to do. Local farmers supply our kitchen, nearby guides lead our excursions, and the whole vibe is just... right. Can't really explain it better than that.
We'd love to host you and show you what we've built here. Every stay's different, but they all start the same way.
